- Friskies en pâté (Diner du chef, Thon et poisson blanc, Saumon, Diner à la dinde et d'abbatis)
- Choix du Président (formule Poulet, Poulet et Riz) chez Loblaws et Maxi
Les besoins du refuge s'élèvent à environ 6 caisses de 12 grosses conserves (368 g) par semaine! Oui, le RSA a beaucoup de bouches à nourrir...

The cats at the shelter are in need of canned food. What they like:

- President's Choice (Chicken, Chicken and Rice formula)
We feed the cats about 6 cases of 12 big cans (368 g) per week ! yes, the ARN has a lot of mouths to feed...

URGENT !!! L'été est déjà à nos portes! Pour plusieurs cela signifie du soleil, du bonheur, les vacances, etc. etc. Pour les bénévoles du RSA, cela signifie une période très difficile pendant laquelle ils seront innondés d'appels à l'aide. Comme à chaque année, il y aura beaucoup de chattes enceintes abandonnées ou avec des chatons qui essaient de survivre tant bien que mal. Ces petites chattes abandonnées ou perdus seront à la recherche de nourriture et d’un gîte pour la sécurité de leur bébés. SVP aidez-les et devenez foyer d’accueil temporaire pour une période allant de quelques jours à 4 mois (dépendamment des cas). Beaucoup de personnes craignent d’acceuillir une chatte enceinte par manque d’expérience, pourtant le proverbe qui dit: « accoucher comme une chatte » est bel et bien réel! Il est très rare qu’il y ai des complications lors de l’accouchement: la nouvelle maman se débrouille très bien et fait tout par elle-même. Seriez-vous prêt à leur ouvrir votre cœur et votre maison pour leur venir en aide tout en relevant un nouveau défi enrichissant et valorisant ? Summer is already here ! For many it means sun, happiness, vacations, etc. etc. For the volunteers at the ARN it will mean a very difficult time when they will be submerged with phone calls. Like every year, there will be tons of abandoned pregnant cats or with kittens who are trying to survive as best as they can. These small abandaned or lost cats are looking for food and a safe place for their babies.
Please help them by becomnig a temporary foster home for a period of between a few days to about 4 months ( depending on the case) . Many people are afraid of taking in a pregnant cat simply because of a lack of experience, even though there is a french proverb that says ' giving birth like a female cat' is very true ! There will rarely be complications during a delivery: the new mom knows what to do and will take care of everything.

Rose-Mai ( Kira) est à la recherche d'un foyer temporaire ou permanent où elle n'aura pas à cohabiter avec d'autres animaux. Elle ne supporte pas de partager son foyer ni avec les chiens ni avec les chats. Mais elle adore la compagnie des humains!!! Elle est extrèmement affectueuse, adore se coller et aussi dormir sur nous. Mais comme toute bonne écaille-de-tortue qui ce respecte, elle a son petit caractère. Rose-Mai est aussi polydactyle, ce qui veux dire qu'elle a des doigts supplémentaires aux pattes. ************ Rose-Mai (Kira) is looking for a temporary or permanent home where she will not have to live with other animals. She can't stand to share her home with either cats or dogs. But she loves human company. She is extremely affectionate, adores to cuddle up and also sleep on us. But like any good tortie she does have somewhat of a temperament. Rose-Mai is also polydactyl (Hemingway cat), which means that she has extra toes on all of her paws.

This beautiful cat is the picture of calmness and delicateness. She is very affectionate and she likes getting a little bit of attention. Sadly she is diabetic and needs daily insulin shots... She loves napping in the sun. This poor creature lived her entire life with a good family until an unfortunate turn of events occurred: the young woman living there needed a kidney transplant and they had to resolve to find a new home for their pets.
