Most of the cats shown on this page have been with us for a while now.  Because of the different reasons below, people are less drawn to them for adoption. I call them the « forgotten ones ». Like all others, they need to live a normal life in a house where they'll receive the love and attention that they need even if it's only temporary.

Some cats require special food for different reasons like weight control, urinary tract infections, diabetes, allergies, need for more dietary fibre, etc. Exceptionally, if you want to foster a cat that needs a special diet, the shelter will provide you with the adequate food it needs.

Certain cats really don’t like to be around other cats. We sometimes have to to put them in a cage. Then, everyday, we'll give them some time out so they can stretch their legs. But it would be far better for them to go in foster care while they wait for a permanent home in a family.
